Consignment Guidelines
Pumpkin House provides value to our customers and only accepts item(s) that our customers will find to be of quality and reasonably priced. All item(s) accepted for consignment must be in excellent condition. All items shoule be in either new or like new condition. Clothing must be cleaned and pressed with out rips, tears, stains or excessive wear. Shoes must appear to be in new condition, shoes with scruffs or significant wear will not be accepted. Item(s) not meeting our quality standards will not be accepeted and may be returned to the consignor if defects are found after being accepted. Please inspect item(s) carefully before presenting them for consignment. Based on upon the actual selling price of the consigned item(s) 40% will paid to the consignor and 60% will be paid to Pumpkin House.
Our consignment period is for 90 days and begins the day item(s) are entered into inventory and presented for sale. Prior to accepting an item(s) for consignment, both Pumpkin House and consignor determine; the intial price and the lowest price, if the item(s) may be marked down during the consignment period, and if the item(s) is to be returned at the end of the consignment period of 90 days. Upon acceptance for consignment, each item(s) is tracked by a consignor identification number and a contract expiration date. The consignor will receive a copy of the signed contract which specifies the term of the consignment.
Items generally will remain at full price for 30 days. After 30 days a markdown may be taken to sell the item(s). If at the end of the 90 day consignment period the item(s) has not sold, the contract is renewable once, for a maximum consignment period of 6 months. If at that time the item(s) has not yet sold it is the responsibilty of the consignor to pick the item(s) up. If the
item(s) are not picked up after the agreed consignment period ends the item(s) then become the property of Pumpkin House.
Pumpkin House will show respect and care for consigned item(s), but is not responsible for damage or loss due to theft, fire, water, vandalism, negligent handling by customers, or other adverse events or Acts of God. If the item(s) is damaged due to our negligence the consignor will be reimbursed for the damage at forty percent of the lowestr agreed selling price.

Item(s) donated to Pumpkin House, which are not placed on consignment, may be sold, donated or discarded at the discretion of Pumpkin House.
Consignors are responsible to maintain current contact information.
Items left after assigned pick-up date become property of the Pumpkin House.
All consignors will be required to fill out an intake sheet and sign agreement.
Pumpkin House reserves the right to amend or replace contract guidelines and conditions at any time after expiration of a consignment contract period.
Please keep in mind we accept items on a seasonal basis and holiday appropriateness and remain the right to turn away any items or clothing that we deem as unsellable.
All sales are final.
We do not refund, accepts returns or exchanges.
